DP100 disc apparatus is solid and durable and suitable for medium hard to hard brittle solid material crushing and fine crushing processing. This instrument can grind the sample up to about 100μm of the particles at one stroke.

Typically used for Geological & Minerals samples preparation.

The working principle:

DP100 disc mill grinds samples through the friction and pressure generated between a rotating-disk and another fixed disk. When entering the grinding chamber, they are pre-crushed in the disc then, under the effect of centrifugal force, transferred to the outer limits of the disc and further finely crushed. Finish grinding samples will drop into the sample receive container through the gap between the grinding disc.
